Cookies / What’s it about?
This Policy applies to “cookies” and refer to the website operated by E-Stop based in Węgry.
What are “cookies”?
“Cookies” are IT data, mainly text files, which are stored on users’ devices. They make it possible to recognize the user and display the website tailored to his individual preferences. “Cookies” usually contain the name of the website they are associated with, storage time and a unique number.
What are “cookies” used for?
“Cookies” are used to save settings and adapt the content of websites to the user’s preferences. They are also used to create anonymous statistics that help to know how users use websites. This makes it possible to improve their structure and content.
Which “cookies” do we use?
“Session” and “permanent”. The first of them are temporary files that are deleted after logging out of the website or turning off the browser. “Persistent” remain on the user’s device for the time specified in their parameters or until they are manually deleted. “Cookies” used by the website operator’s partners are subject to their own privacy policy.
Are there any personal data in “cookies” files?
Any personal data stored in “cookies” may be collected only for the purpose of performing specific functions for the user. They are encrypted in a way that prevents unauthorized access to them.
How can I delete “cookies”?
By default, web browsers allow “cookies” to be saved on user’s devices. However, these settings can be changed so that they block their placement, ask for permission to save each time, delete all “cookies” after closing the browser, and even adjust individual rules for individual websites. Imposing restrictions on “cookie”s may, however, affect some of the functionalities available on the websites. For details on configuration, see the software settings and help files.
